Mrs. V  supports each child’s unique needs and celebrates their individual successes, fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. She started her teaching journey as a preschool teacher in Bishop, CA. When she and her family relocated to Yuma, she applied her skills as the YACS teachers aide. She is now our current K-4 teacher and believes that education should be a joyful adventure, filled with curiosity and discovery.

Ms. Eliza is our lower grades teachers aide. She is currently studying Elementary Education at Arizona Western College. She assists in various classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and help facilitate engaging lessons. Her goal is to create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Each day is filled with a variety of activities, including:

- Bible Stories and Lessons: We begin our day with age-appropriate Bible stories and discussions that teach important Christian values and principles.
- Creative Arts and Crafts: Students express their creativity through art projects that often tie into our Bible lessons, helping them visualize and remember key teachings.
- Interactive Learning Centers: Our classroom features learning centers where students can explore subjects like math, science, and reading through hands-on activities that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
- Music and Movement: We incorporate Christian songs and movements into our routine to make learning fun and help children connect with faith through music.
- Group Projects and Cooperative Learning: Students work together on projects that build teamwork and social skills, while also reinforcing Christian principles of kindness and cooperation.
